As a company I produced documentaries in Africa and India in co-production with Ünsal Meseci, mpool filmproduction. Originally I produced experimental films in Toronto and Paris, then short films such as “Only 4 Minutes” in Berlin, and later «Emoticons» in co-production with the Italian director/producer Alessandra Bergero in Liguria .
After 20 years of European film business I am working as a consultant for international coproductions in particular with France, Italy and India.
Together with Bombay-Berlin Film Produktion, Arfi Lamba and Abhijeet Singh Baghel in Mumbai, we are developing an Indian-German feature film for the Indian and the International market. Other feature film projects are planned.
Moreover we are developing a documentary about music and philosophy together with Tanmoy Bose in West-Bengal, India. Furthermore we are writing an Italian-German TV-series together with Monna Productions Italy. We will see what comes along the next months.
My experience reaches from writing for feature film and television in different genres to working as a director in documentaries and short films. The last 18 years I have gained a lot of experience as 1. assistant director, location, set-manager and script supervisor in feature films for cinema and television, commercials, TV-series and weekly-soaps.
On this website I would like to present you some excerpts from experimental films, shot in Paris, Berlin and Toronto but also documentaries in Africa and India. You may read unpublished prose about my «travel» between the East and the West in between 1991 – 1996. As a writer and/or producer I am interested in different genres from comedy, to drama along with musicals and soap. Als Produzentin habe ich mit Experimentalfilmen meine Anfänge in Paris und Toronto gemacht. Später habe ich die Kurzfilme “Noch 4 Minuten” oder “Sommer in Berlin” produziert. Weiter ging es nach Indien und Afrika, um dort zusammen mit der mpool Filmproduktion Dokumentarfilme zu drehen. Zusammen mit der Regisseurin/Produzentin Alessandra Bergero habe ich deren Kurzfilm in Ligurien/Italien co-produziert und entwickelt.
Nach 20 Jahren europäische Filmbranche arbeite ich als Consultant für internationale Coproduktionen insbesonders mit Frankreich, Italien und Indien.
Zusammen mit der Bombay-Berlin Film Produktion, Arfi Lamba und Abhijeet Singh Baghel, entwickeln wir einen deutsch-indischen Kinofilm für den indischen und internationalen Markt. Weitere Filmstoffe sind in Entwicklung.
Außerdem schreiben wir an einer italienisch-deutschen Fernsehserie und entwickeln einen Dokumentarfilm über die Musik und Philosophie in West-Bengalen/Indien zusammen mit Tanmoy Bose. Mal sehen, was sich noch alles in den nächsten Monaten ergibt.
Wie sie sehen werden, habe ich in vielen Bereichen der Filmwirtschaft Erfahrungen gesammelt. Auf dieser Web-site können sie sich Experimentalfilme aus Berlin, Paris und Toronto von 1988-95 ansehen. Über 18 Jahre habe ich immer wieder als Regieassistenz, Aufnahmeleitung und Continuity im Kino-, Fernsehfilm, Werbung und Clip gearbeitet und spannende Erfahrungen in Portugal, Italien, Frankreich, Sambia, Indien, Kanada und vielen Ecken Deutschlands gesammelt.
Nebenbei habe ich immer wieder geschrieben. So sind Prosatexte von 1991 bis 1996 entstanden. Sie beschreiben Berlin und eine impressionistische Reise zwischen Ost und West. Seit Ende der 90er habe ich Drehbuchstoffe für das Kino und Fernsehen entwickelt. So können sie Ausschnitte aus Komödien, surrealen Komödien, Dramen oder auch aus einer Soap lesen, zum Teil in Englisch oder Französisch. Neuere Texte sind unter Anfrage erhältlich.
